City hare

The mountain hare’s Latin name is Lepus timidus, but there was nothing timid about this one I photographed on my way home yesterday, calmly having its evening meal by the tram tracks at Wieselgrensplatsen. In Swedish this is a skogshare – a forest hare – but I think it’s misnamed. Clearly this one is a City hare!
