Wooden cross behind modern altar in the ruins of the old church at Härlanda. This church is Gothenburg’s oldest and predates the city by many centuries. According to a plaque on the outer wall, it was probably built in first half of the 12th century and was demolished by order of Gustav Vasa in 1528. It looks as though someone has plans for a sacrificial bonfire on the altar at Easter.
