Trees in the Trädgårdsföreningen Park, nearly bare of their leaves, reflected in Vallgraven, the moat around the old city walls.
After what feels like a month of dull weather but is probably just one week, this morning the sun broke through the clouds. A reminder that somewhere there are always blue skies and the sun shining on fields and hills – if only the fields and hills of cloudscapes. The sillhouette is the slope of Ramberget – our raven-black mountain.
Eriksberg and Klippan, the bow of the Alvsborg bridge and the mirroring curve of Sannegårdshamn – Gothenburg lights in the pre-dawn. Photo taken from Ramberget. A little photoshoppery to remove the worst of the low-light artifacts.
Dawn over Gothenburg under a crescent moon. Photo taken from Ramberget yesterday morning.
The colours of autumn in the leaves of various trees on an island in one of the Delsjö lakes. This photo was taken exactly one year ago today.
Autumn in Renströmska Parken, the park around the old Renströmska sanatorium. Walking the dog.
This is a September sunset – and I think my first ever sunset as just a setting sun on GBG365. You wouldn’t know this was taken in Gothenburg, but it was, though to be sure it’s 10 days old. The last photo I took before leaving Sweden and handing GBG365 over to my guest photoblogger Annick Carlund. Many thanks to Annicka for keeping the site warm for me! You can see all Annicka’s pictures in a special gallery here.
