A cold wind blows snow across Drottningtorget, with the Central station building behind and Slussgatan passing over the canal in the middle ground. After weeks of rain and wind the thermometer is finally showing sub-zero temperatures and we have a bitter snow, but at least it brightens things up.

The wet snow that fell the night between Thursday and Friday was driven before a storm-force wind and plastered windward pine trunks on Ramberget. The ground was already frozen and the slush froze in ripples as the wind left it.
