These garden decorations – I suppose that’s what they are – were set up on parade by the fountain at Järntorget during a street market that claimed to be “Italian”. Are Italian gardens decorated with wooden rabbits? I have my doubts.
The story tent at Bältesspännarparken attracts a range of different ages. These two don’t seem entirely sure if they want to come in or not. (I took this photo of two little girls silhouetted in backlight at last year’s Kulturkalas.)
The morning sun casts the long shadows of headstones across the uneven, grave-filled ground of Gothenburg’s old Jewish cemetary.
The cemetary is situated just beside the train tracks leading in and out of Gothenburg Central Station. Sometimes, as the trains rumble past, you can see the headstones wobble.
